The Widow Tough then married John Hendry on December 15, 1855 and had three more children - James, John and Sarah. In 1868, the united families came to Canada arriving in Fergus on May 8. In 1879, they moved to Machar Township where they remained till 1888. Then they moved to Grand Valley. They lived there until Sarah became too feeble to look after herself when she moved to Fergus with her daughter, Sarah (Hendry) Steele. When she died in 1907, Mr. Hendry was in Winnipeg. He was still there when he passed away in 1915.
